A local band is on the road to playing the Download festival, but what could be better than a warm-up gig in their hometown? How about a gig that is free? It’s the case for our own Sacred Mother Tongue who are rightly looking forward to the big day and it seems there’s quite a few people around to catch them one more time. The supports also looking good too, Seethe and Firetone are a couple of reliable bands to set things up while “Lost Without Cause” are another new face in the Beatdown nights.

Back once again in the Sno! Bar for some metal and a beer. Once again the lineup is a relatively short one with only a couple of bands on which leaves the gig starting a little later than usual. First off are the Northampton borne metal-mongers No Remedy who’ve brought their riffs to the fore, though the main attraction for tonight is none other than the mighty metalcore of Seethe who have returned to MK to stir things up in any potential mosh-pits…

Some of the more old-school fans amongst you may remember a certain band with a penchant for particularly wild hardcore gigs, Seethe have returned with a new vocalist, some new tracks and looking very raring to get back on track. “How the f*** are we doing?” shouts Gary, giving the room a call to arms and breaking into a set, “Means To An End” driving the middle of the crowd into the beginning of a mosh pit.
