I’ve been a very bad boy lately, thanks to having extended shifts at work and going to a charity gig that had an embarassingly low turnout I felt a bit aggitated, grumpy, wallowy and accidentally forgot about the site for a while. But, I’m back and brimming with fresh rants! Now here’s something that some people will agree on (Steffi Lewis, Kate Redley) and others will despise me for, maybe. How do you go about taking your shots at a gig? And how exactly do your results come out?
One of my pet peeves about some journalists is a tendancy to waffle, even I do it if I hazard any guesses, but this article is devoted to a couple of select articles that caught my eye. To set this straight before I head in on this, remember that this isn’t a tirade against NME or Q or whatever else, they have good writers who write articles that I enjoy reading. This is for all the poeple who write articles that are shoddy and miss the point so much that they are a waste of a page or two, read on if you don’t mind my bile.
